Registered Social Worker, (RP(Q))

— Registered Social Worker, (RP(Q))

Biography: Hello! I am a Registered Social Worker and a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). I help individuals, adults, youth and older aged adults with a focus on trauma, self-esteem, mood disorders and self-care/ coping.

I use an integrative approach to therapy as I believe there is no “one size fits all” approach to therapy! I am person centered and focus on many different modalities including mindfulness, CBT, Trauma focused and processing through brain spotting, solution focused, and strengths based approaches. In addition to this I am currently learning IFS (parts work to explore internal  conflicts), somatic connection (mind and body) and emotion focused (feelings and needs).

Each session will be tailored to your needs from a collaborative perspective. Having a integrative approach means exploring the behavioural, cognitive, physical, social and spiritual aspects in treatment as a means to respond to different needs at different times.

Others describe me as bubbly, open, kind and empathetic. Being from Newfoundland, I love nature, ocean views and hiking. On my off time I have a cockapoo dog who runs the show but keeps my physical and mental health on point!
